To all the students and teachers, my first visit to AVS will not be my east. I was very impressed how eager the children wrote in their books and listened to their teachers. I attended also a karate lessons and the courage of these kids. I wish you good luck and as happy memories as I have kept from my school time.

Dear Kavitha, Vanitha, Sheeba, Maha, Parveen,Jeya priya, Nirmala, Chitra,Saranya,Sathya, Sudarmathi, Selvakumari Madhan, Giri, Ramaa,Jeyaram. I take you all with me in my heart to Holland. Why? Thank you for your warm welcome, Thank you for your enthusiasm, Thank you for your confidence in me. Thank you for the Possibilities you gave me to experience. I never worked in groups with so many children and even with those language problems, but that was no problem. The children and teachers were very enthusiastic and so was I and if I had more time I should have taught you more in sculptures and painting. But I hope, and I am sure it will happen, that you can do it also without me, just trial and error. Thank you for the fun we had, Thank you for your warmth and love you gave me, the last three months have a very special place in my life. I learnt a lot from you and the Indian culture.

Thank you so much for this wonderful experience at AVS. AVS is more than a school. You are doing such a great job. You give the children the chance to get a good education and you take care of many other needs of the children healthy vegetable, evening schools, mobile library, mobile clinic etc. The children learn here many important things for their future and you show them, what it means to be part of a community. You are a great teacher- team. It was so good to see how you share life with each other. I could love to teach back in Switzerland in such a great teacher team. I loved to teach here some English lessons and drawing lessons, to spend time with the children during the breaks and to enjoy some evenings with the kids in the “children village”. Thank you for all the things I learnt from you for example how to play the Veenai and so many more things. Thank you for your warm welcome, for your friendship and that I could be part of your team (family, community) and thank for sharing the delicious food with me etc... I will take all this with…

Thank you so much for this amazing experience. It’s the first time I’ve been to India and I really enjoyed getting to know this new culture with its open and welcoming people. Teaching English and different scout games at the school was a lot of fun. The students treat the teachers with a lot of respect and the attendance ratio you calculate every week is remarkable. The children love the school, which should prove to you that you are doing a very good job. I will never forget the time I spent here, Thank you.

Dear friends, one of the first day’s farina told me that I should never feel alone since everyone in the school is like family. This was nice of her to say but at first it were just words after a while I realised that it was surrounded by a big and loving family, which made my stay here with you one of the best experiences in my life! So thank you all so much for being who you are! Please stay like this forever.
